Hello Everyone,

Welcome to the new datacalls blog. Just like everything else in recent months this a new and exciiting feature we have added to the website. We felt the need to have a blog so you the customer, or potential customer can have the chance to talk to us or our development team about the exisiting services we have and the services your would like to have.

If your not sure exactly what we are all about or would just like to know a little but bit more about the services we offer then this is the place to be. Whilst we do have extensive content on our site about all the services datacalls.com offers you it can sometimes be a litte confusing. So, lets start with a quick Q&A to get us started.

1. Who are we and what do we do?

Well, Datacalls is a UK based company which offers a communication platform to eveyone worldwide. Our primary product is the UK Personal Number or also known as the UK 070 Number. These numbers look exactly like UK Mobile Numbers with one exception, you can have your number diverted to over 350 destinations worldwide at no cost, thats right, free!

With our new "Global Comms Control Panel" you have completed access and freedom to your UK Personal Number and the facilites on it. Ah, facilities, thats the next question.

2. So what facilities do you offer and what do they do? 

Ok, let me give you a quick run down on what datacalls.com offers on your Free UK Personal Number. Oh an before i get started with that let me quickly tell you this. any changes you make to your account are effective instantly, all numbers added to your account are live, instantly, in fact, anything you do on your account updates our communications network instantly. (Thats right, no hanging about waiting for confirmations or emails to change things, you have total control!)

Getting back to the question, we offer lots of services and here they are:

1. Free UK Personal Number(s). - Simply means what it says. You can have a Free UK Personal Number, in fact, if you wanted you could have 10. There is no limit to the amount of numbers you can.

2a. Free National/International Diversion. - This means you can divert your Free UK Personal Number to hundreds of destinations worldwide, this can be a mobile phone or a landline. As stated the diversion is totally free.

2b. Free VoIP Diversion. - Thats right, we now offer VoIP diversion on all of our numbers, so if you rather have your computer answer the call this would be the best option for you (look out for the reward scheme coming soon, you could get free international minutes using this option).

3. Free Call Records. - Ok, a handy feature if you want to know who has been calling your number, again, this service is instant. Your call records are updated the moment you hangup the call, so no need to wait to view them.

4. Free IVR Phone Number.  - This one is a little more complicated but with simplicity in mind we have made the process very fast and very easy to setup. If you wanted to play a greeting to your callers like, "Hi, your through to Bob, there are several ways of contacting me so choose an option", you can then play menu prompts to the caller such as "press 1 to call me at home", "press 2 to call me at work" etc... the system is not restricted to this example, its purly an example, but what it does do is give the ability to manipulate our IVR system to suit your needs. Again, and as mentioned above, all the this is FREE and instant.

5. Free Fax2Email Phone Number - Exactly what it says, you can convert your Free UK Personal Number to a Fax2Email service. So if you have the need to receive faxes your number will receive them and email them to you as and when we get them.

6. VoiceMail - Don't have voicemail on your diversion number, not to worry. We offer a Free VoiceMail Service on all of your numbers. You can switch the voicemail on or off very easily within your control panel. To access your voicemail all you do is dial your own number and enter your account/pin number when prompted. You can record your own greetings, call back people who have left voicemail and delete voicemail messages.

Ok so we covered what we offer, whats the next question...

3. What is datacalls all about?

Well we only have one moto "Keep It Free!", thats right, there is nothing on our website or control panel that you have to pay for! Everything we offer from numbers to services is free, free to everyone no matter where in the world you are.

4. So where is datacalls going and what have you got planned?

Well we are always thinking of new ideas to help you get the best possible service available in the industry. So let me just tell you what we got going on.

1. At the moment we are working on a reward system that allows you to earn international minutes when you divert your number to a VoIP phone connected to our network. We are hoping to launch this service within the next two weeks. (thats it for now).

So what if i want to see a service that you dont offer?
